What is Clinical Micro Needling?

Clinical Micro-Needling originally known as collagen induction therapy or percutaneous collagen induction (PCI), is now a well-documented safe and effective solution for multiple treatment options which include post acne atrophic scars, periorbital wrinkles, melanosis, actinic keratosis, varicella scars and skin flaccidity.

Our Clinical Micro Needling device is developed based on ground breaking high precision technology to create micro-punctures on the skin in inducing our skin’s natural healing cascade. In this context, high-precision flexible tilting needle plates which creates 900 microscopic punctures per second is applied on the treated skin without any pressure. The automated hand piece is built with adjustable penetration depth & speed indicated for different skin conditions to initiate percutaneous collagen induction without disrupting the scar tissue.

Micro-needling procedure

Micro-needling is performed under the preparation of a topical anaesthetic cream. The cream, which contains a eutectic mixture of lignocaine, tetracaine and benzocaine, is applied approximately 20 minutes in prior to the commencement of the procedure.
The needle depth selection for each patient depends on the treatment indication. When treating acne and atrophic scarring, the needle length will be selected based on the depth of the scars. Whereas for the treatment of skin rejuvenation and anti-wrinkle, the recommended needle depth will be adjusted in between 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm.
The adjustable penetrating speed will be set at 110-150 hits per second depending the skin condition and the patient’s acceptance of pain tolerance.
The hand piece with the selected cartridge is then rolled on the treated skin in continuous circular direction without any pressure. In the case of scar treatment, the procedure is performed with slight stretching on the treated area to ensure that the base of the scar is treated thoroughly. Uniform formation of small pinpoint bleeding on the scar tissues marks the treatment endpoint.

Post Treatment Care

Anti-inflammatory e-co2 gel mask will be applied immediately after the treatment to reduce the edema and redness.
Reapplication of e-co2 gel mask after 24 hours is highly recommended should the post inflammatory condition persist.
Sun exposure is strictly prohibited.
Avoid drinking boiling hot soup and spicy food.
Hot sauna is not advisable.

Treatment Protocol:
