Clinical Micro Needling
Clinical micro-needling is preliminary associated with treating acne scarring, but it can also be used to reduce the appearance of active (cystic) acne.
Revive skin needling induces a series of consistent, confluent and superficial wounds or channels into the dermis. PCI (Percutaneous Collagen Induction) is a natural response that takes effect immediately following our clinical micro-needling treatment in order to heal the microscopic wounds.
The effect of a single needle pricking through the skin would be insignificant, however, a different outcome emerges when thousands of high precision pricks penetrate side by side in just few seconds. As such, it initiates a complex chemical cascade when the skin starts to heal.
The surge of this activity leads to the intense release of growth factors, stimulating the production of collagen fibroblasts which helps to decrease acne breakouts. Meanwhile, the proliferation of keratinocytes promotes epidermal renewal and thickening of the dermis which visibly improves skin appearance and smoothening of scars while refining enlarged pores.

FAQ
1. How many treatment will I need?
The number of sessions depends on the skin condition of the individual. It is highly recommended to undergo a complete treatment course to obtain the best results.
Our skin needling specialist would recommend at least 3 micro-needling sessions for mild to moderate acne scarring. For depressed acne scars and stretch marks, you may require to go for 5 control sessions or more.
We strongly recommend 2 to 3 weeks intervals in between treatment sessions.
2. What is the recovery downtime?
As our micro-needling technique stimulates the healing cascade immediately following the treatment, you may experience mild erythema which may last for the first 24-48 hours.
However, for those who would like to resume to their daily activities on the same day, we highly recommend the use of our potent anti-inflammatory e-CO2 Gel Mask as a post treatment mask immediately after the micro-needling procedure.
3. What other precautions to take following the treatment?
It is highly advisable to apply sufficient hydration and protective sunscreen on your treated skin to prevent the build of scaling or hyperpigmentation. In this manner, our needling specialist would recommend multiple usage of Fullnesse, a highly concentrated hyaluronic acid within 24- 48 hours after the treatment. You are required to protect your skin against any direct sunrays with our Timeless Sun Care whenever going outdoor.
You are allowed to use Glowing Cleanser with TotaLift 24h or SupremEffects which is enriched with an array of effective anti-oxidants, hyaluronic acid and skin restoring ingredients as post treatment care to enhance the penetration of the actives into the skin.
Sauna or swimming is highly prohibited for the next subsequent 3-5 days after the treatment.
4. When will I start to see result?
You will see the difference within the first sessions. Visible improvements will be observed after 3 – 5 consecutive sessions.
